Chemical Engineering is an engineering discipline that analyzes the major industrial, technological and environmental problems by using basically the science of chemistry along with mathematics, physics, biology, and economics.

People who want to receive engineering training are required to have a good mathematical background.

Chemical Engineering has a structure that requires interdisciplinary workouts. It is an unprecedented branch of engineering for the people who are interested in mathematics, chemistry and physics.

The definition of Chemical Engineering made by the AIChE (American Institute of Chemical Engineering) is as the following:

"Chemical Engineering is a branch of the engineering profession in which includes physical and chemical changes of matter, and is concerned with the application and development of the production process. The tasks of Chemical Engineers are to construct, design and operate devices in which the physical and chemical changes take place."
